Brigg Truman Leavitt
Early Tuesday morning, December 21st, 2021, our precious son, Brigg Truman Leavitt, passed away after a tragic drowning accident. At just 10 years of age, he gained his wings and flew to Heaven where he can be counted among the angels.
Brigg was raised in Monroe, Utah for his first nine years and loved country life. There he wished to return one day with the desire to be surrounded by trees. We hope his body can rest well within the solace of the pine trees at Monroe Cemetery.
Brigg was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed Primary but was eager for the day he would become a Deacon and pass the sacrament.
He lived his short life to the fullest with an array of activities and interests such as wrestling, football, skiing, motorcycling, RC trucks, and loved his dog, Hooch, beyond reason. He had a creative mind and was always building masterpieces with whatever materials he could find, blocks, Legos, cardboard, rocks, or wood.
We so looked forward to seeing what he would make of this life and he excelled in the most important aspect. He loved others. He had a gift for making friends with his genuine smile and generous spirit, he will be sorely missed by everyone that knew him.
Brigg was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kent Crookston. He is survived by his father and mother, Lewis and Megan, and his sister and best friend, Markell.
We are heartbroken.
