Christina Marie Keenan

January 16, 2003 ~ June 17, 2018

Christina Keenan, age 15, unexpectedly passed from this life to eternity on Sunday, June 17, 2018 in her home in Huntsville, Utah.

She was born on January 16, 2003. She was a joy and gift from God to all who knew and loved her.

Christina was more than kind and caring to everyone in her life. She was a freshman at Saint Joseph Catholic High School and truly loved her friends and teachers. She loved going to church at Saint Florence and the Ogden Valley Community Church and visiting The Holy Trinity Monastery where she was especially close to Brother Nicholas, Father Patrick and Father Joseph. Christina loved hearing the monastery bells ring every day.

She loved all her animals, skiing, ice skating, horseback riding, tennis and ballet. Christina loved being a member of the Saint Joseph Catholic School theater program and the tennis and swim teams. She worked many Saturdays at the Valley Veterinary Clinic with Dr. Etta Baker. Christina loved helping and caring for all the animals that came in for treatment. She loved working closely with Dr. Baker and Cortney, giving the best care possible to all patients needing care.

Christina only lived 15 short years, but gave tremendous love to her Mama and other loved ones around her. She provided her family and friends several lifetimes worth of great memories.

Because the Lord was Christina’s Shepherd, she shall not want, both now and for eternity.

Christina was preceded in death by her grandfather Richard Keenan and grandmother Joan Keenan. Unfortunately, Christina’s father Rodney George Marriot abandoned her when she was 13 years old. It crushed her heart and soul because she loved and adored him so much. Christina is survived by her Mama, Kelly Keenan, her father Rodney George Marriot and very close friends David Knowlton, Dr. Etta Baker, Cortney Draper, and “Uncle” Earl.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 29th, 2018 at the Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th St, Ogden.
