Clarice Bodily Sharp
September 6, 1926 - January 18, 2017
CLINTON – On Wednesday, January 18, 2017, Clarice Bodily Sharp, 90, joined her husband 17 days after his passing.
Born September 6, 1926, in Lewiston, Utah, the daughter of Parley and Emma Bodily.
She married Clyde Sharp on September 30, 1948, in the Logan LDS Temple.
A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as den leader, Primary teacher, librarian and ward historian. She was an Ogden Temple Worker and served a full-time mission with her husband serving 6 months in the Los Angeles Temple and 12 months in the Atlanta Temple.
She was a full-time homemaker raising her family of eight children. She enjoyed serving others and being with her family. She took great pride in cooking for many.
She is survived by her children Ned (Jeanette) Sharp, Dearl (Adell) Sharp, Maxine (Dennis) Jones, Marjean Lake, Susan Brown, Glen (Barbara) Sharp, Dixie (Martin) Stott, and son-in-law Alan White, 33 grandchildren, 71 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren, sister Joy Gossett and sister-in-law Lucy Bodily. She was preceded in death by her spouse; a daughter, Beverly White; sons-in-law Michael Epling, Vernal Brown and Preston Lake.
She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, at 11 a.m. at the Clinton Church, 1708 W. 800 N. Friends may visit with family Friday, January 27, 6-8 p.m., Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 W. 5600 S. and Saturday, 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
