Donna Lee Beck Long

August 22, 1936 ~ December 13, 2018

Our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, December 13, 2018. She was born on August 22, 1936 to her parents Jacob and Gertrude Beck, here in Ogden, Utah.

She was blessed with 8 children, 19 grandchildren, and 39 great-grandchildren.

Donna married the love of her life Francis Long originally from New York. While married he served in the USAF. They had been stationed in New Jersey and in the Philippines.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as a Primary teacher and as a den mother.

Donna is survived by her sons, Rick (Nikki) Polson, Erick (Shanna) Long, Timothy (Georgia) Long, Jay Long, and Joseph “Yankee” (Connie) Long; her daughters, Cindy (Butch) Wheeler and Becky Long. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 23, 2008, mother and father, her sisters, and her brothers, as well as one son, Tony Long.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
