Blaine Tubbs

1925 – 2016

CLEARFIELD – After 91 years, Blaine Tubbs, son of Edward M. and Mina O. Tubbs, joined his parents peacefully on July 5, 2016.  Blaine served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.  He married his sweetheart and eternal companion Wanda M Edwards on November 24, 1954 and they were later sealed for time and eternity in the Ogden Temple in Ogden, Utah.

Blaine is survived by his wife Wanda, four daughters, Marilyn (Don) Arthur, Linda (Dennis) Peake, Barbara Tubbs, and Carol Arave.  He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, John Arthur, Dana Arthur, Jordan Arave, Colten Arave, Aleicia (Tyler) Jones, Marlissa Peake, Vanessa Peake and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the LDS South Main Chapel, 1895 South Main Street, Clearfield, Utah.  Friends may visit family Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Riverside Cemetery, Riverside, Utah at 3 p.m.

The family would like to thank the nurses and physicians at Davis Hospital and Inspiration Hospice in Layton for their diligent concern and care for our father during his last days on earth.
