Emma Ileene Worsley

1927-2015

Emma Ileene Worsley, 87 of Centerville, Utah passed away on April 26, 2015.

Born in Bountiful, Utah to Leo Vernon and Emma LaVon Duncan Worsley. She is the oldest of five children.

Ileene attended Davis High School and was class valedictorian.  She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and later her Master’s in Education from Brigham Young University.  She taught elementary school in many cities in Utah, primarily in South Davis County.

She served an LDS Church mission in the Spanish-American mission, and served in Texas learning and speaking Spanish.  She was an accomplished pianist and organist and loved helping others learn to play. She was service orientated and willingly served in many callings including ward organist, temple ordinance worker, and several church service missions.

Ileene is survived by her sister Faye Gadd and brother Conway.  Preceded in death by her parents, brother Lamont, and sister Beverly Richardson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Parrish Canyon Ward Chapel, 610 Rowland Way (100 E.) Centerville, Utah.  Friends may visit family Wednesday, April 29 th from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Thurs. from 10- 10:45 am at the Church prior to services.  Interment Centerville City Cemetery.
