Froylan Belarmino Garcia, 82, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017.

He was born May 13, 1935 in Canjilon, New Mexico to Belarmino and Rosa Martinez Garcia.

In 1983, Froylan married Martha Speer in Ogden, Utah. She preceded him in death July 15, 2015.

He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Froylan was employed by Defense Depot of Ogden until his retirement.

He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and gambling.

Froylan is survived by Jamie (Jami) Garcia, Hooper; Dusty (Kassi) Garcia, Seattle, WA; Ernest Garcia, Cortez, CO; Stacey Hunter, Las Vegas, NV; Patty (Darrin) McLean, Helena, MT; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; one brother, Felix (Josephine) Garcia, Sunset; and two sisters, Tillie Romero, Sunset; and Ufelia Montoya, Ogden. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Max, Ray, Jose, and two sisters, Euduvjin and Patsy.

The family will meet with friends on Monday, October 23, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m., with Rosary at 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. Burial and services will be held in Coyote, NM.
