James Eugene Howe

James Eugene Howe, 71, passed away on July 28, 2016 in Ogden, Utah. He was born on July 3, 1945 to Lee J. and Evelyn Torman Howe.

James attended local schools and graduated from Ben Lomond High School. He served his nation in the U.S. Army. James worked at DDO as an Inventory Control Manager and later he worked at Big D as a building engineer. He married Linda Myers and they later divorced.

James had a passion for rebuilding show trucks and organizing and attending local car shows. He served as the President of the Intermountain Truck Club. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles.

James is survived by his daughter, Wendy Williams; son, Troy Howe; two grandchildren, Sascha Martinez and Cassidy Williams; two great-grandchildren, Burklee Martinez and Diesel Martinez; sisters, Connie Jones, Jody (Michael) Moran, and Laura (Doug) Hunt; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Lee Howe, Jr. and Robert Howe.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2016 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may gather with the family from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the mortuary and from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. on Friday.

Interment at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park.
