Jamie Hart

Jamie Ann Spiers Hart (51), beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and aunt, passed away Wednesday at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Jamie fought a stoic five-year battle against cancer, always having a positive outlook and never asking for sympathy. Her concern was always for those she knew and the ones who were fighting cancer.

Her love and care for her family was always her main focus. “God doesn’t give the hardest battles to his toughest soldiers, he creates the toughest soldiers through life’s hardest battles. "

She was born on January 11, 1967 in Ogden, Utah, to Dennis (Duffy) and Diane Spiers. Jamie graduated from Weber High School in 1985. On June 5, 1986, Jamie married the love of her life Jeff Hart in Ogden, Utah. Together they had two amazing children, son Casey and daughter Jayde.

Jamie had a passion for sports, loved fitness and excelled at competitive challenges. She enjoyed scrapbooking along with an extraordinary eye for design and the use of vintage charm. Created unforgettable parties and new family traditions with a focus on the smallest of details. “Antiques – Grandma had it, Mom threw it out, I brought it back.”

Jamie is survived by her husband Jeff, children Casey Hart, Jayde (Colton) Ross, parents Dennis and Diane Spiers and brother Kurt (Sandy) Spiers.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 21, 2018 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Ogden airport gateway center, 4248 South 1650 West Ogden, UT.

The family would like to thank Dr. Jason Stinnett, Lisa and all of the staff at Utah Cancer Specialists, as well as Rocky Mountain Hospice for their unwavering support and care.
