Janay Widdison

April 3, 1981 — July 19, 2018

Janay Blair Widdison

Janay Blair Widdison, 37, of Kaysville, Utah passed away on July 19, 2018 in Layton, Utah. Janay was born to Sharon Day and Max G. Blair on April 3, 1981 in Layton, Utah. She was a 1999 graduate of Davis High School, and later attended Weber State University. She married Daniel Robert Widdison on January 25, 2002 in the LDS Bountiful, Utah Temple. They were married for 15 years and later divorced. They had four beautiful children, Michael Robert, Violet Elizabeth, Calvin Rex, and Lucille (Lucy) Ann Widdison. Being their mother brought her the most joy in the world.

Janay had a beautiful and contagious smile that would light up the room. Her fiery red hair matched her spunky personality. She had many friends and loved to have fun and be silly. No one was a stranger for long around Janay, she would strike up a conversation with anyone, and would easily find a similarity between the two of them. She loved a good shopping trip. She was very active and enjoyed exercising at the gym, and had worked hard at weight lifting and kickboxing. Her favorite sports were volleyball and rugby. Janay lived her life to the fullest and loved to try new things. You could often find her with her children in a museum, park, or the Kaysville Theater. She loved to be up in the mountains, especially at Moosehorn Lake with her family.

Janay was deeply loved by her family and we will always have a place in our hearts for her.

Janay had a strong belief in God. She knew that she was loved by her Heavenly Father, and that the Atonement was real. She loved teaching the Sunbeam class at church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Simpson and Evelyn Day, and Donald and Ann Blair, as well as her uncle, Carl Dean Blair. She is survived by her parents, her four children, and her siblings, Graydon (Valerie) Blair, David (Cinthia) Blair, Daniel (LeAnne) Blair, Anna (Jared) Hall, and Michelle (Collin) Shaw.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 25th at 2pm at the Kaysville Creekside LDS Chapel on 555 North 100 East,  Kaysville, Utah.
