Jane R. Meade

LAYTON – Jane R. Meade, 85, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014.

She was born November 6, 1929 in Kaysville, Utah the daughter of William and Vera Flint Robins.

Jane married Thomas Meade on January 5, 1950 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Jane worked at IRS and retired from HAFB.

She was a member of the Clearfield Community Church and the Beth Arabah Charter Order of Eastern Star.

She had a passion for Irises and took 1 ^st , 2 ^nd and 3 ^rd place one year in a flower show. Jane also grew many different types and colors of Irises.

Surviving are her two sons, James (Nancy) Meade, Layton; Jeffery Meade, Layton; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Thomas and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden. Friends may visit family Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
