Jayden Brandon Walker

December 10, 2001 ~ June 16, 2018

On Saturday, June 16, 2018, our Beautiful Baby Boy decided he could no longer fight a battle he felt he could not beat. Jayden Walker has left us to play his violin for that great big audience in the sky.

Jayden grew up in West Haven and later moved to Plain City. He attended Fremont High and Roy High School. In Jayden’s short time here, he has touched more souls than one can count. He will always be remembered for being the best friend a person could ever have. Jayden loved with his entire being and showed everyone he met that love. He will be missed and remembered by so many. May the sweet sound of your violin ring on forever. Fly high our precious boy. We love you forever.

If I could have a wish come true, a dream that’d come to pass. I’d ask to spend a day with you, and hope that it would last. I’d run to you and hold you close, we’d laugh and smile again. I’d listen so intently as you told me how you’ve been. When time was up, I’d hold you close not wanting to let go. You’d smile and tell me, “See you soon” and somehow, I would know. That while it’s very hard to wait, one day the time will come. I’ll join you there forevermore when I too am called home. My wish may go ungranted but it always will be true… I’d trade many of my tomorrows for one yesterday with you.

Jayden is survived by his mother, Jennifer Briggs, step-father, Ryan Briggs, father, Brandon Walker, grandmother, Jean Wright, great-grandmothers, Dee Keoppel and Arvil Walker, two brothers, Korbin Briggs, Brady Briggs, and four sisters, Tayzen Walker, Paizlee Briggs, Kambria Briggs and Shelby Briggs. He was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Russell Keoppel and Robert “Bob” Walker.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
