Jeanette Eddington Heiner Wilcox

Birth: December 14, 1941

Death: August 26, 2018

My Dearest Jeanette,

I love you so very much!  You were so much more than I deserved.  You were an excellent wife, more than any man could ask for, and a great mother.  You gave me six wonderful children: Charlotte (Sean) Larsen, Andrea (Jason) Craig, Grayson (Carley) Wilcox, Susan (Ralph) Carlson, David (Jen) Wilcox, and Jordan (Kellye) Wilcox.  You were the best grandma that twenty two grandchildren could ever have.  They love you as much as you loved them.  You were their sunshine as much as they were yours. Now you can watch over them from on high. Your unconditional love was beyond belief.  You were able to make everyone you met feel of your loving and caring heart.

You are the most beautiful and incredible woman I have ever known.  I marvel that I was able to talk you into marrying me.  Fifty one years and sixteen days was not enough time to have you in my life. I am looking forward to spending eternity with you.

Your forty years of loyalty to the Salt Lake Symphonic Choir was almost unmatched.  I so enjoyed traveling with you on several of the choir trips.  Russia and Armenia were two of our best trips.  Our first trip with the choir after two months of marriage to New England was unforgettable.

Our trips to New Zealand, Brazil, Mexico, China and Thailand were such great times together as well.

I love you for the support that you gave me and the soccer team that we coached together.  I know how much you loved your “soccer boys”.

I love how you shared with me how much you enjoyed the time you spent as the President of the BYU Cougarettes and how much you loved the Folk and Ballroom Dancing Teams.  You “danced and danced and danced, and marched and marched and marched, and sang and sang and sang”.  Now that it’s too late, I only wish I had taken you dancing.   It would have been just one more chance to hold you close to me.

I can only imagine how excited your parents, Frank and Marie Heiner and your brother Paul Eddington Heiner are to now have you with them.  I know that your sister Kathleen Heiner will miss you so much, as will your nieces and nephews, many family members and friends.

Until we meet again, know that I love you more than I know how to express.

With all my love,

Your loving husband,

John
