Jeanne Louise Paterson Stone

October 15, 1942 – November 21, 2017

Our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Jeanne Louise Paterson Stone, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep in the early morning hours of November 21, 2017.  She was born October 15, 1942 to Melvin and Velma Paterson in Spokane, Washington.

Jeanne spent most of her time loving her family, friends and pets.  She retired from Lagoon after working for more than 20 years where she loved her career and made many friends.

Jeanne is survived by her sons; David (Denise) Nielsen and Melvin (Amy) Stone. Five grandchildren; Stephen, Benny, and DJ Nielsen, Rachel Nielson and Tyler Winter, 12 great-grandchildren, two brothers; Ray (Sue) Paterson, John (Janet) Paterson and her dear friend Rhonda McIntosh.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Bill and Jim, her first husband Benny Nielsen, second husband Don Stone, and her two sons Kenny Nielsen and Corey Stone.

Memorial services will be held Friday, December 1, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Clinton LDS 26th Ward, 1828 N. 3000 W.  Clinton, Utah.

Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road, Layton, utah
