Joan Carole Ramsey

June 28th 1939 ~ January 14, 2017

Joan Carole Thomson Ramsey, 77, was born on June 28th, 1939 in Ogden, Utah to Ray and Vera Thomson. She passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, after a short illness.

Throughout her life, she was a resident of Ogden and attended Ogden High School.

She later worked for Ogden Clinic for 30 years.

She enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, playing games, crossword puzzles and camping. Joan is survived by her children, Kim Newman Kofoed of Ogden; Corey ( Kathi) Newman of Sandy; Tracy L (Vinnie) Hancock Falcone of Franklin, MA; and Keith Ramsey of Ogden; ten grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; two nieces, Vicki and Kelly and three grand-nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, VeraRae; brother, Buzz; nephew, KC; and grandson, Anthony.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Ogden City Cemetery, 1875 Monroe Blvd. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary 3408 Washington Blvd., and Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.at the mortuary.
