June Cummings Lambros

1926 ~ 2018

ROY, UT–-June Cummings Lambros passed away on September 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 21, 1926 to Frank and Flossie Lucille Egan Cummings.

She married her loving husband of 61 years, Billy J Lambros, in 1945. Together they had eight children.

June was preceded in death by her husband, Billy J; daughter, Pamela; son, Johnny; and her grandson, Lonnie. She is survived by her children, Linda Priest (Milt), Mike Lambros (Angela), Eileen Arnell (Jerel), Lori Rupp (Kerry), Dean Lambros (Connie), and Nancy Faulkner (Mark), 22 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great- grandchildren; and many family and friends.

She was an amazing lady, if you knew her you loved her! She was strong, loved life not pretentious, had a loving and generous spirit, and a wonderful sense of humor. She loved her brothers, Clyde Cummings (deceased), Gary Cummings (deceased), Garth Cummings (deceased), and Glen Cummings; sister, Nathalie Welch (deceased) and Gloria Barlow; and so many nieces and nephews.

Her other joys in life was playing blackjack and Monday night card club, summers at the Alpine Cabin, Winters in Yuma, but most of all spending time with family and friends. We know when she got to heaven she heard Dad calling out “Junnie it’s about time”.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
