Keith Russel Labrum

LAYTON – Keith Russel Labrum, 82, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014.

He was born August 29, 1931 in Murray, Utah the son of Jay W. and Gladys Sansom Labrum.

Keith married Gloria Jane Black on September 2, 1955 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

He was an active member of the LDS Church, served a two year mission to So. California and as Elders Quorum President, Stake Missionary and Teacher.

Keith worked in manufacturing for 20 years and for the City of Salt Lake for 15 years.

He was very active in sports, basketball, fast pitch softball and loved the Utah Jazz and U of U sports.

Surviving are his wife Gloria, sons, Ron, Park City; Ken (Sandy), So. Jordan; Kirk, Salt Lake City; daughter, Julie (Alan) Acord, Layton; 22 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother, Richard Labrum, St. George; and sister Myrna Burningham, Salt Lake City.

Preceded in death by his son David Scott Labrum.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Ward, 2500 No. Church Street, Layton.  Friends may visit family Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the church.  Interment, Redwood Memorial Cemetery, West Jordan, Utah.

Services entrusted to Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
