Kenneth Earl Rash

June 24, 1962 ~ August 30, 2015

Kenneth Earl Rash, 53, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015.  He was born on June 24, 1962 in Ogden, Utah, to Neil Duane Rash and Mary Edna Hancock. Kenny attended El Dorado High School in Las Vegas, NV, and later Weber State University.

He married Deanna Macey and they had three children and they were later divorced.  He married the love of his life, Ruth Ann ­Murphy on November 10, 2007, in Layton, Utah.

Kenny was raised as a Latter-day Saint and was a truck driver for Dave R. Grant Hay Inc.

He especially enjoyed being around his family, camping, and playing music.  He was an outgoing, fun loving person and enjoyed helping others.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Rash; children, Christopher Rash, Neil Rash, Dennae Rash; 15.5 grandchildren, mother, Mary E. Oscarson; and brother, Dennis Alan Rash.

He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Deborah Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
