Leo Don Smith

Leo Don Smith, 90, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 21, 2018.  He was born on April 9, 1927 to Ernest Raymond and Myrtle Winniefred Christensen in Fish Haven, Idaho.

He married Lois Ann McFarlane on August 8, 1947 in Ogden, Utah.  They were the parents of five sons, Rodger (Beth Ann), Leslie (Sheryl), Thomas (deceased) (Jeaneen), David (deceased), and Clint.

Dad lived in Ogden most of his 90 years. Leo had a very successful career as a carpenter working in construction.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, and traveling.

Leo is survived by his four sons, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who loved and admired him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, his sons, David and Thomas; and grandson, Travis.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
