Leonard Wadman

Leonard Alan Wadman “Butch”

On February 14, 2017 the self-proclaimed “ElkMaster” joined his parents and brother in Heaven. Butch was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle, and a cherished friend to many.

He was born June 21, 1959 to Bud and Gloria Wadman. He was the fourth of five children. He was loved by his sisters Mary, Sandi, Cindy, and he was best friends with his little brother Lamar. He was raised in Sunset and left lasting marks at Fremont Elementary, Sunset Jr. High, and Clearfield High School.

On February 5th, 1977 he married Janie Newey. They had three children together Nakeisha, Adam, and Jason. They were later divorced.

Butch, AKA the “ElkMaster”, had a huge heart and had many friends that he loved dearly. He had the ability to make friends everywhere he went. Butch loved being outside and working in his yard. He loved being in the mountains hunting and fishing. He had a love for the game of pool as well as fast cars and motorcycles. He had a passion for shooting guns, archery, and selfies. Butch lived with one foot in the grave but he lived. He was able to put a smile on your face with a story, a one liner or a song. He will be missed dearly by many.

He is survived by his sisters Mary (Bill) Hughes, Sandi Stucki, and Cindy Coy. His children Nakeisha (Frank) Armijo, Adam (Jami) Wadman, and Jason Ray Wadman. Grandchildren Brayden, Payton, Landon, Vivi, and Santiago. And many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard “Bud” and Gloria “Bitty”. His brother Lamar, Brother in law Kerry Neilsen, Niece Jessica Stucki and Nephew Jerimiah Stucki.

The family would like to say thank you to Louise Fulmer and Nicole Carlyle, as well as all his friends that made him laugh and smile.
