Marianne Caldwell Weiss

October 24, 1934 ~ February 15, 2018

Marianne Caldwell Weiss, 83, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018.  She was born on October 24, 1934 in Milan, TN, the daughter of Robert Lee and Marian Hanie Caldwell.

She married 2nd Lt. Robert James Weiss, USMC, in 1955 in Milan, TN.

Marianne was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Marianne was passionate regarding her bridge and the people she played with. She also enjoyed tennis and reading before her illness robbed her of the ability to enjoy these things. She loved her home and her family and her caring permeated the atmosphere wherever she was. She was exceptionally beautiful, exceptionally unassuming and loved by all those who knew her.

Marianne is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Lee Ann Herndon; and son, Robert W. Weiss. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Sam, John, and Robert.

The light is no more but the memories remain. We invite all of our friends to pay their respects and to share memories of a grand lady whose candle has been extinguished on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
