Mary I. Hamblin Maria Adeliria Ignacita Lobato Espinoza Hamblin of Ogden, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 14, 2013. She was born July 31, 1925 in Mancus, Montezuma, Colorado. She was born to Jose Francisco Lobato and Vincenta Gurule. On May 5, 1942 she married Rubel Jose Espinoza in Aztec, San Juan, New Mexico. From this marriage she had 8 children. She was raised and educated in Colorado and later moved her family to Ogden, UT. Mary was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was later sealed to her husband on June 20, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Rubel who died March 13, 1962; two children, Ruby, and Frank (“Punky”); three grandchildren: Christopher Martinez Jr., Tregory Martinez and Andrew Jordan Strybing-Tucker; daughter-in-law, Debra Berrett, and son-in-law, Carlos Sidon. Surviving are her children Carol (Perry Chavez), Steve (Elaine Cummings), Josephine (Richard Gemar Sr.), Robert, Thomas, and Cathy. She left an amazing legacy behind. She was a mother to eight, Grandma to 27, Great-Grandma to 67 and a Great-Great-Grandmother to 22. Her sole desire from beginning to end was that her family would find unity to help complete her job on this earth. She was a devoted mother and her family was always at the center of her attention. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
