Melissa Hadley

May 31, 1975 ~ January 14, 2018

Melissa Hadley, 42, passed away peacefully in her sleep of causes incident to a lengthy struggle with alcoholism.

Melissa attended T.H. Bell Jr, High and Bonneville High School where she excelled at academics and sports. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Radiology from Weber State. She was licensed as a Cardiac Intervention Specialist and worked for many years at the Cardiac Cath Lab in Ogden, Florida, and Texas.  She came back to Utah where she could be with friends and family and pursue her love of the outdoors hiking and swimming at Flaming Gorge and Bear Lake.

She married Robert Ringo whom she later divorced, but together they had the true love of her life, her son Jerron.

Melissa had a brilliant mind and endless potential, but sadly could not put aside alcohol despite her efforts through treatment to achieve sobriety.  Her sparkling personality, smile, and wit will be sorely missed.

Melissa is survived by her son, Jerron Hadley Ringo; parents, Ron and Joanie Hadley; brother, Ryan; and sister, Kristen (Tyler Field). We love you, Melissa, and hope you are finally at peace with Heavenly Father.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
