Peter Benjamin Deichmann, 69, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.  He was born in New Orleans, LA on February 18, 1947 to Benjamin and Alma Marie Donavan Deichmann.

He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.

On February 15, 1968 he married Rita in Ogden, Utah.

Peter was a member of Duck Unlimited and US Postal Union.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He loved watching football (his favorite team was the New Orleans Saints), listening to music, and watching Science Fiction.

Peter is survived by his wife, Rita; sons, Michael (Emmy) Deichmann and James (Jamie) Deichmann; daughters, Barbara (Dax) Doyle and Antoinette Deichmann; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Benjamin Deichmann; sister, Mary Whittington; and nephew, Christopher.  He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Randy Dee Kramer.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
