Rhonda Kay Hutchinson, 51, a long-time Ogden resident, passed away at her home on November 15, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Born May 10, 1968 in Ogden to Dennis Richard and Jacqueline Kathleen Weitzel Jones, Rhonda was raised and schooled in Layton, and had many friends in the area.

She married John Robert Hutchinson on October 4, 2003 in Bullhead City, Arizona. He treated her children as his own and they were a loving blended family. Her daughter Kiera passed away on September 4, 2004 at the age of 18. John passed away on December 19, 2004 and Rhonda has continued to work and serve her family since that time.

Having worked for a time for the Internal Revenue Service, Rhonda went on to become the Automotive Tire and Lube Service Department Manager for Harrisville Walmart and was an Assistant Store Manager there. She was hardworking and prided herself on exactness and serving her customers well.

A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Rhonda loved to collect cow-themed memorabilia and had many good laughs with her family. She also enjoyed reading, working on cars, doing puzzles of all kinds, painting, and coloring.

She will be remembered most for her kind heart, great wisdom, good sense of humor, delicious cooking, and the love she had for everyone around.

Rhonda is survived by her children, Blake Jason (Ashley) Jones, West Jordan; Scott David Coombs; Travis Jordan Wolf, Hurricane; Krissy Heather Wolf, Ogden; Tabatha Chelese (Ronald) Ridley, Ogden; Chase Austin Trever Wolf, Ogden; and Marissa Gabriella Wolf, Ogden; five grandchildren, with one on the way; mother, Jacqueline Kathleen (Paul Beech) Jones; brother, Casey Richard (Tiffany) Jones; and sister, Kimberly Kay (Bill) Beckelman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Hutchinson; daughter, Kiera Natasha Wolf; father, Dennis Richard Jones; brother, Flint Richard Jones, and her grandmother, Mae Ruth Weitzel.

The family thanks the kind staff of Inspiration Hospice and Doctor Justin Mansfield for their thoughtful and professional care.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may meet with family on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
