Robert William Feldon Gleave
March 20, 1961 ~ December 27, 2018
Robert William Feldon Gleave, 57, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018. He was born on March 20, 1961 in St. George, Utah, the son of Robert Cleon and Sharon Strebel Gleave. He grew up in South Ogden, graduated from Bonneville High School, graduated with a Bachelors in Economics from University of Utah, and Masters in Finance from Pacific Coast Banking School.
He married Kimberly Dawn Gleave on October 19, 2013 in Salt Lake City.
Robert was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various callings including Stake Sunday School, Scout Leader, teacher, and served a mission to Sao Paulo, Brazil.
He was a member of Habitat for Humanity, Utah Young Entrepreneurs, Utah Medical Group Management Association, and Junior Achievement.
Robert enjoyed woodworking, reading, painting, cars, Tough Mudders, hunting, fly fishing, driving tractors and “farmer work”, and especially reading to his grandchildren.
Robert was a mentor and teacher, a leader in the business community, and a stubborn, hard worker. He was a vast storehouse of useless knowledge – we didn’t need “Google!” He loved history, was a “great dancer,” and more than anything enjoyed his family. He was a creative artist who not only loved to paint and draw, but was skilled in architecture and also a master carpenter.
Robert is survived by his wife, Kimberly; sons, Jonathan (Laci), and Joshua (Nicole), Zachary; stepsons, Robert (Megan) Moschetti and Rhett (Tiffany) Moschetti; daughters, Stefani (Noah) Zind, Sara Gleave, Lauren Gleave, Rachel (Nick) Matthews, Sidnee Gleave, Tiffni (Jace) Woodrow, and Shelbee Hoffman; nine grandchildren; parents, Robert and Eleanor Gleave; brothers, Torrey Gleave, Terry Gleave, Kevin Dahl, and Shane Dahl; sisters, Celeste Gleave, Trina Keane, Jackie Dahl, and JoDea Dahl. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sharon and Gary Dahl and grandparents, Earlean and Feldon Gleave and Mattie and William “Bill” Strebel.
