Rudy passed away on November 21, 2015. He was born on July 10, 1934 to Selustiano and Soraida Giron Roybal in Petaca, New Mexico. On June 19, 1955 Rudy married the love of his life, Eloisa Montoya.

Rudy lived in many places but spent most of his life in Romeo, Colorado. He attended local high schools and later studied at a Bible college. Rudy became a Minister of the Assemblies of God. He served his community as a fireman and Mayor. Some of his hobbies include fishing, hunting, and playing the piano and the guitar.

Rudy is survived by his wife, Eloisa; sons, Kerry (Mary) Roybal and Mike (Laurie) Roybal; daughters, Sharon (Armando) Hernandez, Olga Roybal, and Esther (Lyle) Montoya; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and sister, Theresa Pollock.

Rudy was preceded in death by his parents, Selustiano and Soraida; sister, Ruth Cantu; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Anita and Cristobal Montoya.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be held at Hooper City Cemetery.
