Shawn Paul Harris, 46, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2016.

He was born May 27, 1969 in Ogden, Utah to Michael Bruce Harris and Alice Dianne Handsaker. Shawn graduated from Roy High School in 1987 where his love for music inspired him to learn to play multiple instruments and he was passionately involved with both the band and the orchestra during his years at Roy High.

On April 17, 1992, Shawn married Stacie Marie Mathews in Ogden, Utah; they later divorced. Shawn faced many challenges in his life but he always kept a smile on his face, love in his heart and words of encouragement to anyone he encountered. He loved animals especially his three cats.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Best Friends Animal Society in his name.

Shawn is survived by three children, Jaden Michael Harris, Clinton; Alex Scott Harris, Clinton; Kallie Jo Harris, St. George; his mother, Dianne Handsaker-Smith (Wayne); his father, Michael B. Harris (Roxan), one brother, Michael Brent Harris (Melissa); and one sister, Heather Dianne Bloomquist (Peter). He was preceded in death by Paul S. Bitton.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the home of Harvey and Pat Dalton, 8822 Mountain Valley Drive, Huntsville, UT. RSVP 810-887-9114 .
