Susan Kaye Belich Chesser was born August 25, 1945 to Melvin J. and Virginia Buhler Belich. She was born very premature, few expected her to live, however Susan was born with quiet strength and she lived. Susan blessed all she came in contact with. She had the ability to make people feel of great worth.

Susan became an elementary school teacher and taught for four years.

On June, 25, 1970, Susan married the love of her life, Joseph Lawrence Chesser in the Manti LDS Temple. They had a whirl wind romance and a courtship that lasted 41 years. Susan and Joseph are best friends, though life hasn''t always been easy they leaned on one another and their faith in God and Jesus Christ.

Susan was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held various callings including Stake Relief Society Presidency, Relief Society President, yet her favorite calling was nursery because of her deep love for children.

Susan and Joseph were blessed with two daughters. Susan was a wonderful mother. She taught her daughters to love education, music, and the Lord. Later in life Susan would become a stellar Grandee to her grandchildren and any child in need of a grandma. Her motto in life was "you can''t have too many love you."

She was very creative and had many hobbies. She loved to paint, scrapbook, but most of all make crafts with the grandchildren.

In May of 2011 just after Mother''s Day, Susan discovered she had cancer and with quiet strength gave a valiant fight. On New Year''s Day 2012 Susan passed away surrounded by her family, holding her husband''s hand. She left behind a legacy of kindness and strength and will be sorely missed.

Susan is survived by her husband, two daughters, Marci (Clint) Hall, Valorie (Tyler) Andrews, four grandchildren. Katelynn and Kalista Hall, and Emmah and Catalina Andrews. She is also survived by her mother, Virginia (Max) Hawkins, her brother, Tom Belich and sister, Karma (Dean) Mathews, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin J. Belich and grandson, Jason Alexander Hall.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6th at 11:00 a.m. at the Roy 27th Ward Chapel, 3776 West 5375 South.

The family will meet with friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. And Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church

Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
