Susan Nan Saxton

Susan Nan Saxton, 65, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2016.  She was born in Ogden, Utah, on October 4, 1950, the daughter of Fred and Nan Tucker Kindred.  Susan was raised in Ogden, graduated from Bonneville High School, and graduated from Cosmetology School.

She married Dennis Saxton on November 4, 1971 in Logan, Utah.  They were married 44 wonderful years.

Susan was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and her favorite calling was being a Nursery Teacher.

She enjoyed being a child care giver and retired as a custodian at Weber State University.

Susan enjoyed doing word search puzzles.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Dennis; son, Brian Saxton; and daughter Tamie Tallant; seven grandchildren; father, Fred; brother, Scott Kindred; and sister, Marcie Sluyters.   She was preceded in death by her mom, Nan; sister, Nancy Lee Barnes; brother, Fred Jr.; and her grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Orchard Park Ward, 3270 Orchard Ave., Ogden.  Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Monday from  9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.  Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
