Trevor Owens McIntire, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away tragically in a car accident on March 1st, 2021. Trevor was born on May 21, 1987 in San Dimas, California. Trevor graduated from John A. Rowland High School in 2005 and served in the Washington DC North Mission for the LDS church from 2007-2009. He received his Associates Degree from Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah and later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Dixie State University in 2016. At the time of his death Trevor was living in St. George, Utah. Trevor began his career at a few different financial institutions, but at the time of his death had found a job he loved at Home Depot, operating heavy machinery and avoiding crazy customers. He was highly valued by a wonderful team there – he had recently been named as Employee of the Month and received many other recognitions.
Trevor was an old soul. The last thing he’d want to do is scroll Instagram or do a Tik Tok video, but loved to entertain his family with custom video reels of his outdoor adventures. Trevor loved being outdoors and was always up for a bike ride, run, or a good rock climb. Trevor might seem like the quietest guy in the room, but if you spent any time with him you would quickly learn he was the wittiest. No one delivered one-liners like Trev.
Trevor had a tender heart which provided endless entertainment to his adoring nieces and nephews. Whether it be magic tricks or tag and hide and seek, Uncle Trevor was game to play.
Thirty-three years was not enough time with our Trevor, but we’ll settle for eternity. His parents, John and Jane McIntire of West Jordan, Utah, brother Dustin (Chiara) McIntire, sisters Anna (Daniel) McCammon, and Wendy (Robert) Gilbert along with all of their children wait impatiently for the day they can be with Trevor again. Until then, his Grandma and Grandpa Owens and Grandma and Grandpa McIntire are holding him in heaven.
