Tyler Ross Duran
April 7, 1981 ~ August 31, 2018
On Friday, August 31, 2018, Tyler Ross Duran, loving son, brother, father, and uncle was welcomed into Heaven at the age of 37. Tyler was born on April 7, 1981 in Ogden, Utah to David Sr. and Connie Duran.
Words could never express how truly unique and amazing Tyler was. His bubbly personality was infectious, changing the lives of everyone that he encountered. Tyler always put others before himself regardless of the situation and his embrace made you feel more loved than ever before. His smile was authentic, his laugh was contagious, and his heart was pure. This world lost a very special person and those who knew him will never be the same without him. Tyler would never want us to remember him in sorrow; instead he would want us to celebrate knowing that his life is just beginning. Tyler is finally home, in Heaven, and he is celebrating eternal life with the one true God, the creator of all things.
Tyler grew up in Roy City and graduated from Roy High School in 1999. He excelled in Football receiving State and Area recognition. His love for football was evident as you could find him on any given Saturday or Sunday cheering for the Nebraska Cornhuskers with his brothers or waving his beloved “terrible towel” in honor of his Pittsburg Steelers. Tyler graduated with Honors from the Davis Technical College and worked for the 309th Maintenance Support Squadron, Installation Shop on Hill Air Force Base as a Mechanic.
Tyler is survived by his four beautiful children, Ambree, Lily, Connor, and Kohen whom he loved more than anything in this world; his father, David Duran Sr.; his mother, Connie Duran; his brothers, David Duran Jr., Christopher Duran (BreeAnn), and Rick Duran; and his sister, Heather Duran.
