OGDEN a€" Ada Bell Barney Wright, 85, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and sister, passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 surrounded by her family. She was born April 24, 1922 in Ferron, Utah, a daughter of Lawrence and Esther Beal Barney.

Ada married Leonard H. Wright on October 20, 1941, and their marriage was sealed for time and all eternity on December 16, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Leonard preceded her in death on March 9, 1977.

She was raised in Ferron and lived in Ogden, Washington Terrace and Roy.

Ada was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully in her callings. Ada loved to serve and gave all she had to those she met. All who met her, left as her friend. Ada loved everyone.

She truly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. They were her life. Ada lived her life loving and serving her family.

Surviving are her children, Leon Wright, Laketown; Ray (Chris) Wright, Washington Terrace; Gene (Ginny) Wright, Oahu, HI; Steve (Kathy) Wright, Clinton; Russell (Mary) Wright, and Duane (Karen) Wright, both of Ogden; 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, one special great-grandchild to come, and her brother, Austin Barney, Ogden.

Ada was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, sister, one grandchild, one great-grandchild and her daughter-in-law, Joey.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 15 at 1 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends and family may call at the mortuary on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Interment, Ogden City Cemetery.
