Adam Hennefer

July 3, 1982 — March 2, 2021

Adam Richard Hennefer

1982 ~ 2021

Adam was born on July 3, 1982, to Brett L. Hennefer and Jolene Rives Hennefer.  On March 2, 2021, he was reunited with his mother and sister.

Adam was preceded in death by his grandparents Richard S. Hennefer, Ruby Mae Moffit Hennefer, Rell W. Rives, Jr., Cathryn Whetton Rives, his mother Jolene Rives Hennefer, his sister Jessica Cathryn Hennefer, and his cousin Steven James Black Jr.

Adam grew up in Kaysville, Utah and graduated from Davis High School on the honor roll.  He was actively involved in Scouting, playing basketball and soccer where he was often coached by his father.  Adam, his dad and long time friends, loved going camping, fishing, skiing, and hunting.

In 2011, Adam and Randi Johnson were blessed with their son, Kolton. When Adam would see Kolton, or hear his name, his eyes would shine.  They loved spending time going to McDonalds and the park. Quite often, Kolton went home carrying a new toy.  Kolton was his dad’s little shadow.

Adam was employed by a contractor, responsible for maintaining the grounds of Hill Air Force Base.  He loved driving the mowers, because he “felt free, with no one looking over his shoulder".  He looked forward to going to work and loved talking about his job.

Adam enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, Marcie Beckstead.  They enjoyed taking their kids to the park, going to the movies, BBQing, and camping.

Adam is survived by his father, Brett L Hennefer (Christina Hennefer), his siblings by marriage, Kelly C. Chidester, Anthony R. Campos, Melissa D. Chidester and his son Kolton R. Hennefer.  He is also survived by a large extended family of loving step-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and step all–of-the-above, who love him dearly.
