Adam Maestas
Adam Maestas, 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2012. He was born on June 30, 1931 to Thomas and Francisquita Maestas.
He served in the Korean War where he received a bronze metal. He loved fishing, camping and staying physically fit (OAC).
Adam is survived by his son, Ralph Maestas; daughter, Fran (Davey) Gallegos; brother, Thomas Jr. Maestas; sisters, Laura Garcia, Perfy Maestas, Teddy Valdez and Lela Maestas; grandchildren, Paul Maestas, Shane Gallegos, Shon Earl, Lindsy Maestas, and Kyle Earl and great-grandchildren, MacKayla Wixom, E. Paul Maestas, Addisyn Maestas, Joel Gallegos, Morgan Gallegos, Boston Earl, Michael Diarte, Taelor Judkins, and Emma Lee Uribe.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Francisquita; son, Paul Maestas; daughter, Lydia Earl; grandson, Joel Gallegos; brother, Manuel and sisters, Susanna and Cornia Leyba, and Ester Maestas.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1100 East 5550 South Ogden, Utah. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
The family would like to especially thank Elaine Archuleta for the 10 star service you gave our father and the love you showed him, to Abundant Life Home Health and Hospice and Mt Ogden Care Center for the wonderful care of our father.
