Adell Miller
1926-2013
Adell Gardner Miller (Grandmother to most, Suzie, to many) was granted her angel wings on February 19, 2013 in Bountiful, Utah. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Adell had touched in so many ways throughout her memorable life. Adell was born May 24, 1926 in Price, Utah but lived most of her life in Santa Monica, California. She and her husband, Ted, were sealed in the Los Angeles LDS Temple and lived in Everett, Washington until he passed away in 1999. They loved square-dancing and serving weekly in the Washington Temple together. After Ted's passing, Adell moved to Bountiful, Utah in 2003 to be closer to her son and her grandchildren.
Adell was an instant friend to everyone that she met! She made life-long friends in bookstores, coffee shops, on airplanes, and street corners. Her constant smile brought joy to everyone and she touched lives all around her. She was small and stooped but her giant sense of humor and cheery outlook brought us joy, hope, and courage and reminded us never to take life too seriously. She loved to travel and was ready to go anywhere on a moment’s notice regardless of the destination, and she loved to celebrate anything and everything with a party. She enjoyed music and reading stories and was known for creating many of her own.
Adell is survived by her loving son, F Dell Hill, his wife, Deni Carr Hill, 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and by her brothers, Aerial Gardner and Philip Gardner. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Theodore (Ted) W. Miller, her precious daughter, Laurie S. Reynolds, and her older sister and five older brothers. She will be missed and loved until we see her again….
