Alan Miyagishima, 73, passed away on July 26, 2015 at his home of natural causes. He was born on August 1, 1941 to Kiyoshi Miyagishima and Tomie Onishi in Copperfield, Utah.

After his service in the Army he settled in Davis County where he retired from Hill Air Force Base. Alan enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also loved to go fishing, golfing, and bowling. He was an active member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Alan is survived by his two nieces, Sherry (Reggie) Carter and Terri (Glenn) Omoto; and nephew, Travis Hirabayashi.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Frances Hirabayashi; brother-in-law, Dick Hirabayashi; and nephew, Ricky.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment will be held at the Ogden City Cemetery.
