Alanna R. Peace
ROY – Alanna Rae Peace, 42, died Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at McKay-Dee Hospital of liver and kidney failure.
She was born May 5, 1965 in Torrance, California, the daughter of John Wesley and Marva Egan Peace. She and her family later moved to Utah where she graduated from Roy High School.
Alanna obtained her pilot’s license and flew power line patrol for several years. She worked at the Internal Revenue Service as a clerk, tax examiner, and manager since 1988.
Alanna was never afraid of an adventure. She remodeled two houses and built a cabin. She loved enjoying her animals, being at her cabin in the mountains, oil painting, playing the guitar, and listening to audio books.
Surviving are her partner of 20 years, Natalie Bassett Peace of Roy; her father, John, of Albuquerque, NM; one uncle, Ralph Egan, Draper, UT; and many cousins.
Alanna’s mother and grandmother were waiting for her and welcomed her with open arms.
Graveside services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Logan City Cemetery.
