Albert Leonard Matlock

OGDEN- Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Albert L. Matlock, passed away at his home in Washington Terrace on October 28, 2007.

He was born in Calusa, CA, on October 6, 1924 to Charles O. Matlock and Bonnie Shaw. He later had a stepmother, Leona Pyle. He had two brothers and six sisters, Charles F., James V., Francis P., Dona May, Peggy, Wanda, Kalene, and Darlene.

Albert served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, achieving the rank of Motor Machinist''s Mate First Class. He lived in several cities in CA, MO, and UT, eventually settling in Washington Terrace. He worked many years as a jet engine mechanic at Hill Air Force Base.

He married Elva J. Busco and they raised two daughters. Elva passed away May 2, 1986.

Albert will be greatly missed by his two daughters and their partners, Chris Hennessy and Richard Hurst of Hooper, UT; Cathy Parent and Willard Smith of Oatman, AZ. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2007 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Friends may call at the mortuary Saturday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.

Interment a€" Lindquist Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch 1718 Combe Rd., South Ogden.
