Alberta Leone Thompson Frongner

Alberta Leone Thompson Frongner, 90, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 5, 2014, with her loving husband of 70 years at her side.
She was born February 28, 1924 in Farmington, Utah, a daughter of Albert C. and Leone Spackman Thompson. She was raised in Cambridge, Nebraska and later moved to Davis County, Utah.
On March 20, 1944, Alberta married Lewis Frongner in Rigby, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on March 14, 1968. During Lewis’s Basic Training they lived in Camp Roberts, California. They later settled in Morgan, Utah.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Alberta was also a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary.
She enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, especially her flowers, and loved helping her husband on the farm.
Alberta is survived by her husband, Lewis; one son, Randy (Janice), Mtn. View, WY; three daughters, Lou Jean (W. Jay) Thompson, North Ogden; Debbra Toone, Morgan; Judy (Marty) Woolsey, Morgan; ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Bessie Williams. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Brad, and two brothers, Leo and George.
The family extends a special thank you to Hospice of Utah and Family Tree Assisted Living Center in Morgan for their loving care and compassion.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Stoddard Ward/Milton Church House, 1255 North Morgan Valley Drive. The family will meet with friends Wednesday, November 12th from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.
