Alex Joel “AJ” Eastvold

Alex Joel "AJ" Eastvold passed away unexpectedly in his home on May 31, 2015 in Clinton, Utah at the age of 26.

Alex was born on May 28, 1989 in Layton, Utah to Michael Eastvold and Cindy Olesen. He attended school at Northridge High. Alex began working as a dedicated employee for Smith’s in 2005 where he worked in the grocery department then managing the dairy department, and ultimately becoming an accomplished order picker and reach driver in the distribution warehouse.

Alex was the type of person that could accomplish anything he set his mind to.  He was a great craftsman, software engineer, mechanic, carpenter, tinkerer, builder, and loving father to Corbin, Jayda and Kaylia. He was dedicated to his family and to the love of his life Cindy Woelfer.  Alex will be remembered for his charm, kind heart, and sensitive nature.

Alex is survived by his son, Corbin Eastvold; fiancé, Cindy Woelfer; parents, Michael Eastvold and Cindy Olesen; siblings, Derek Eastvold, Shayd Eastvold, Micaela Eastvold and Leif Eastvold. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brittanya Stratford

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.  A reception will follow at the Clinton Ward, 1825 North 3000 West Clinton, UT 84015.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Alex’s life.
