Alexander Joseph Ensign

February 26, 1999 — April 6, 2022

Kaysville

Alexander Joseph Ensign was born on February 26, 1999 in Salt Lake City, Utah and left this world on April 6, 2022.

He graduated top of his class from Davis High School in 2017 and earned Summa Cum Laude honors with a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Utah in 2020.

Alex was an amazing young man; funny, friendly, extremely creative, and intelligent.  All who knew him loved him. He brought life, energy, and noise to his home and was a caring brother, son, uncle, and friend.

He loved music and performed as part of the Davis High Drum Line. He shared this love by composing and sharing music online and through his car windows. His other hobbies included sunset watching, skiing, hiking, Netflix and chillin.

These are a few of the many things that will forever be remembered by his loving parents, Richard and Stephanie Ensign, siblings Breanna (Tim), Danielle (Scott), Jenny, niece Zoey, and grandfather Howard Davis.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents Richard and Kathryn Ensign and Lorraine Martz.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Road, Layton, Utah.
