Alexander Gibby

October 27, 1999 — August 4, 2018

Alexander (Alex) Link Gibby passed away on August 4, 2018.  Alex was born to Jeffrey Paul Gibby and Dawn Susan Nunn on October 27, 1999.  He has two younger sisters, Anna Belle and Ash Lee Gibby.  He attended public schools in Layton City Utah, Boulder Creek, California, and the Vista Education Campus in Farmington Utah.

Alex loved the beach, the ocean, swimming in the family pool, music and wrestling with his dad. He loved his dogs, Sandy and Bo, riding his bicycle and roller skating.  He loved his family and was a happy young man.  He loved being outdoors and riding with his dad on the motorcycle, riding on his ATV’s, going fishing and camping with his mom and dad.  Alex was a great soul and he will always be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Alex is survived by his mother, father, and his two little sisters.  He is also survived by his grandmother, Cheryl Nunn, his grandfather Robert Nunn, his grandparents Paul and Julianne Gibby,   great-grandmother Bertha Worthy and 18 cousins.

Alex was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Jean Zylstra; Robert and Lucille Bodily; Ralph and Lou Ceil Gibby.

Alex’s life will be celebrated by his family on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Memorial House in Memory Grove, Salt Lake City.

Alex’s family would like to give thanks Alex’s teachers, therapists, doctors who worked with him through the years and who loved Alex as much as we did.

In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Vista Education Campus for a new sensory room in Alex’s name.  For information contact the Vista Education Campus at (801) 402-5975.
