Alexis Nicole Nelson, 3, passed away Friday, June 18, 2010 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born June 29, 2006 in Ogden, Utah the daughter of Jeremy V. and Emily R. Nelson. Alexis had so many people come to the hospital waiting for her to be born, it was overflowing with people who loved her. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Alexis loved to play dress-up especially as a princess, paint her nails and fix her Jeep while daddy fixed his cars. Alexis was always watching and learning from her daddy. She had coveralls and play tools of her own like her daddy''s. She was really smart and a great problem solver. She always had an answer for everything and could always find the hidden candy. Alexis loved to tell stories and had an incredible imagination. She liked to play with her Aunt Abby. They were best friends. Alexis was a climber, an explorer, loved to learn, and was looking forward to going to school.

Surviving are her parents Jeremy and Emily, grandparents, Joan Auger, Russell and Linda Dennis, John Hansen, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Ponds Park Ward, 200 E. Burton Lane, Kaysville. Friends may visit family from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery
