Alfonso Vito Chacon

Alfonso Vito Chacon, 84, of Coon Rapids, MN passed away on November 20, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. He was married to Isabelle Marie Maestas and they lived in Ogden, Utah until her death in 2000. He relocated to Coon Rapids, MN after his wife''s death to live with his son.

He loved hunting, fishing, golfing, dancing and his grandchildren.

Alfonso is survived by four children, Grace (Gary) Haider, Paul (Diane) Chacon, Tom (Silvia) Chacon, Mike (Lori) Chacon; three siblings, Molly (Phil) Gomez, Carla Atencio and Abel Garcia; many grandchildren; great grandchildren and dozens of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Margarita Chacon and siblings Erinella, Louis, Juanita, Jenny, Cecelia, Annie, Abel, Walter, George, Charlie and Lawrence.

Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 514 24th Street. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. with Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
