Alfred Nicholas “Nick” Neal

August 1, 1980 – June 19, 2016

Alfred Nicholas “Nick” Neal, 35, passed away on June 19th, 2016 in Alabama.  He was born in Tacoma, WA on August 1, 1980 to Jesus Alfredo and Jessica Cordova Neal.

He was raised in Ogden where he lived for 30 years. He married Andrea Soter and later divorced. His work took him to Alabama where he met his fiancé, the love of his life, Lena Devoto. He loved his girls more than anything and could not wait to move back to Ogden to be near them. He was an avid golfer, loved fishing, and the outdoors. Nick was a sharp dresser, and loved the finer things in life.

Nick is survived by his daughters, Alissa, Angela, and Addison Neal and stepson, Jake Torres; mother, Jessica Neal; sister, Natalie (Merrill) Elkins; his nephew, Kai and nieces, Kiana and Maia; grandparents, Phil and Deanna Cordova, aunts and uncles, Dan (Dixie) Cordova, Judy (Charles) White, John (Charlotte) Cordova, Dave Cordova, Tom (Shelly) Cordova, Denise Chatlin, and Leisha (Tim) Greely; cousins, Whitney Cordova, Marshall (Ashley) Wolthuis, Zachary (Jennifer) White, Kasey (Weldon) Bower, Weston Cordova, Liberty Cordova, Austin Chatlin, Chloe Chatlin, Brandon Mildon (whom he always introduced as his brother), Matisyn Greely, and Bricklan Greely; and his good friend, Melanie Ellison who will all miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfred; grandmother, Delia Cordova; aunt, Dianne Wolthuis and uncle, Jerry Cordova.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 27, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.. Friends may visit with family on Monday from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd., South Ogden.
