Alfred Lamont Sei, 70, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2009 at his home in the arms of his loving wife surrounded by his family.
He was born October 6, 1939 in Ogden, Utah to Alfred Sei and Verda Kafton.
After attending Ogden High School, LaMont served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
On May 24, 1989, LaMont married his best friend, soul-mate and the love of his life, Lynne Margaret Bullough in Ogden, Utah.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
LaMont owned and operated SEI''s Auto Repair and SEI''s Shamrock. He retired from DDO.
He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, riding horses and cutter racing.
LaMont is survived by his wife, Lynne Margaret; children, Karry Sei, Toney (Tonya) Sei, Monty Sei, K.C. (Kiley) Day, Scott "Opie" (Ondelyn) Day; 11 grandchildren; his mother, Verda Kafton; and a sister, Sharon Sei (Spencer) Roberts.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3rd at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.
Friends and family may call Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests donations be made to any America First Credit Union in the name of Alfred LaMont Sei, to find a cure for cancer.
