Alfredo Linares, passed away on February 26, 2024, at Ogden Regional Hospital. He was born on August 4, 1944, in El Salvador.
He was a dedicated Commercial Painter, known for his meticulous work and to detail, During his time on this earth, Alfredo not only excelled in his career but also indulged in his passions for watching soccer, hiking, and traveling. His enthusiasm for life and commitment to his craft left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Alfredo is survived by his loving wife, Clementina Linares, his children Jose Leonel Linares, Carlos Rene Linares, Maria Carmen Gonzalez, Rosie Wood, Mayra Victoria Fernandez, as well as 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Carlos Linares, Herminio Linares, and Maria Delfina Linares.
He was preceded in death by his father Carlos de Jesus Linares, mother Juana Victoria Flores, brothers Antonio Linares and Juan Angel Linares.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2024 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 South Chapel Street, in Layton at 10:00 a.m. Friends may visit with family on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Lindquist's Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South, in Roy.
Interment, West Point City Cemetery.
Alfredo Linares will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he touched the lives of many with his kindness and dedication.
