Alice Ada Lindquist Burnham, 80, passed away peacefully at her home, Sunday, January 13, 2013. She was born June 28, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the daughter of Milton Wilford and LauRene Harding Kerr Lindquist.

Alice, her sister Rosemond and her brother Ray grew up in the home of the Lindquist & Sons Mortuary on South State Street in the Granite area. She graduated from Granite High School, class of 1950. She attended University of Utah for her freshmen year and then attended Brigham Young University where she received her Bachelors of Science in the field of Education.

Alice met and fell in love with Francis Nelson Burnham, from Jerome, Idaho. Their courtship culminated in marriage on May 28, 1932 in the Salt Lake City Utah Temple. She has been an angelic mother to eight children. Alice and Fran raised their children in North Ogden, Utah until Fran''s career with the United States Government took the family to Seoul, South Korea for eleven years. While living in Seoul, she served as a temple worker. After Fran''s retirement, they served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utica, New York. They also served as ordinance workers in the Ogden Utah Temple. She loved service in the temple, church callings and spending time with her family.
