Alice Marie Butler

Alice Marie Butler, 82, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023. She was born on August 15, 1941 in Hanna, Wyoming, to Hugh Bernard and Ellen Elizabeth Glad Seldomridge.

She married William Borchers.

Alice worked in food service and spent years with the Internal Revenue Service. Whatever it took, she took care of her children. In her last words, she spoke about how much she loved her parents and that their generation was the toughest and hardest working of all.

She loved making blankets and quilts. She enjoyed gardening and of course the hummingbirds. Her greatest joy and happiness was being a mother.

Alice is survived by her children, Raymond G. Spoon, James Joseph Duran, and Troy Hugh Spoon; daughters, Verna Glee Lundstedt and Kristina Pearl True; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Edie Richardson. She also loved her nieces and nephews very much.

Per her wishes no formal services will be held at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
